Sue Wall is a Cleveland, Ohio native and recognized artist most noted for her Victorian style of painting flora, houses and best of all pets. She is much in demand for commissions and her paintings are in museums and private collections around the world. She is represented by Gallery One in Ohio.

The mug features a sweet picture of three tabby cats or kittens in a basket on an antique lace tablecloth with a pitcher of flowering branches at one side. The picture is framed by antique lace. The graphic is on both sides of the mug.

I can't swear this is an unused mug although it looks like it. Black mugs are difficult to assess. The inside bottom looks shiny like the glaze has had no wear. For sure if it has been used, it hasn't had heavy use. No chips or scratches and not really any shelf scuffing. This is a gift worthy mug.
