This popular cat design has been replicated by many artists and designers. Based on a stuffed and quilted cat this mold was copyrighted in 1981. Maria made this cat in 1990. A brown color has been applied and rubbed off leaving color in the stitch lines. Facial features are painted black all under a glossy glaze. Maria did a good job. The cat is in excellent condition and is about 6 inches long.
