I think of this as a mother cat because of the rose trimmed straw hat and the sweet expression on the face done in gold. Another rose adorns her front paw like a wrist corsage. She is upright almost like she is on her way to the grocery store. This cat is not marked but I have other white porcelain cats with roses and some of them are marked in red, China.
Condition is excellent. It is 5.25 inches tall and heavy enough to serve as a book end or paperweight.
