What's a book about a mouse doing in a cat store? You know what happens when a cat spies a mouse don't you? This delightful picture book is about what happens when a mouse wearing sneakers meets a very determined cat. Recommended for children 4-7, this is a great action packed book for eliciting language from pre-readers. The advantage of having no text is that the story can change each time and the child is never wrong. Can be used with children of all languages.
This is a first printing from J. Lippincott in 1983. The illustrator is Friso Henstra, an award winning artist from The Netherlands. The book is fine in near fine jacket. It has a library binding and has the library binding sticker on the spine of the dust jacket. Jacket has some sticker soil which will be removed before shipping. Corner of flap has been clipped but the price is at the bottom so not sure what was clipped. Book is clean and looks unread.
A great book for a child's library or for an adult who collects award winning illustrated books.
